Over the past month, it seems like the transphobic have decided to become more active than ever before. The LGB Alliance has accused anyone who criticizes them of being homophobic (while opposing rights for homosexuals just remains a political difference in their minds), TERFs are dressing up in dinosaur costumes, and an awful article about transgender healthcare (which I thoroughly debunked) is getting a glowing profile in The Economist.

With all of this going on, it makes sense that Lisa Littman — the woman behind the utterly debunked idea of “Rapid Onset Gender Dysphoria” — would decide to get involved once again. For those who don’t know, Rapid Onset Gender Dysphoria is the phenomenon in which somebody who previously did not express any desire to transition into the opposite sex suddenly does such. It’s not an impossible occurrence, and one that should be studied when it does come up, but Littman turned this real situation into some massive conspiracy about how people are being peer pressured by friends and convinced by YouTubers into undergoing medical transition…
