Why Animal Testing Is Good

Anthony Fauci is in the middle of controversy again — which makes sense considering the massive campaign Republicans have created against him ever since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic because he dares make recommendations on health. Mind you, none of them can actually name a single thing he’s actually done outside of give medical advise on television — he does not have the power to actually create laws or implement policy — but they are convinced he is responsible for everything they don’t like about the how the government has responded.

Conservative activists Steve Deace and Todd Erzen released a book earlier this year entitled Faucian Bargain: The Most Powerful and Dangerous Bureaucrat in American History. However, I have to question the very title of their book; men like Henry Kissinger, Donald Rumsfeld, and other members of the intelligence and defense community have had far more power than Anthony Fauci.

If you ask me, the relentless attacks on Anthony Fauci were one of the biggest mistakes Republicans made during the 2020 election. During a pandemic, most Americans want to listen to doctors more than they do politicians — primarily because of the anti-politics the Republican Party had been engaging in since Ronald Reagan was President.
