On 11/22/2021, J.K. Rowling — the author of the Harry Potter book series who has since gotten into controversy for her opinions on transgender people — tweeted the following:

Last Friday, my family’s address was posted on Twitter by three activist actors who took pictures of themselves in front of our house, carefully positioning themselves to ensure that our address was visible.

Since then, the photo of the three people — first taken by Richard Energy on the night of the incident — has gone viral, and many have blamed “trans activists” or “the transgender movement” for this action. In truth, of the three people behind this stunt — a comedian named Holly W Stars, an actor who goes by I Am Georgia Frost, and the aforementioned drag performer Richard Energy — exactly zero of them are transgender.

Since tweeting out the names of the people behind this act of harassment, all three have been forced to delete their Twitter accounts. Rowling writes in her Twitter thread on the topic:

I have to assume that @IAmGeorgiaFrost, @hollywstars and @Richard_Energy_ thought doxxing me would intimidate me out of speaking up for women’s sex-based rights.

Maybe they did, maybe they did not. However, it seems that Rowling tweeting this thread has certainly intimidated these three into silence for the time being.
