What Meghan McCain Makes Me Think Of

Recently, The View co-host Meghan McCain tore into Democratic Presidential Candidate Tulsi Gabbard (D-HI) for her opinions on the new most important country in the middle east.

“When I hear the name Tulsi Gabbard,” the pretend political commentator said, “I think ‘Assad apologist.”

First off, I must thank Ms. McCain for being the first one in the entire media to question Gabbard’s ties with Assad. Seriously, it’s not as if every other media outlet mentions it every time Rep. Gabbard says anything. Sarcasm aside, I swear she could say she likes puppies and someone in the mainstream media would respond with how evil Assad is.

Of course, anyone even slightly aware of the history of the McCain family finds this statement beyond laughable. In 2009, John McCain along with Senators Joe Liberman and Lindsey Graham met with former Lybia dictator Muammar al-Gaddafi. Should her father have been treated as a traitor for meeting with a middle eastern dictator?

During his 2000 presidential campaign, McCain spoke positively of normalizing relations with communist dictator Fidel Castro. But saying the same thing about the equally evil dictator Assad just crosses a line.

And who could forget his complete silence on the Bush administration allowing Nouri al-Maliki to become prime minister of Iraq? A puppet to the Iranian government — which McCain had previously called the crisis with “the most serious crisis we have faced — outside of the entire war on terrorism — since the end of the Cold War,” — McCain did little to stop the leader from giving the nation to Iranian influences. Now take a wild guess what happened. Mind you, this did not stop him from signing we should “bomb bomb bomb bomb bomb Iran,” during his 2008 presidential campaign.

There were also the many “freedom fighters” he backed (to steal a joke from George Carlin, “what do they fight exactly?”) that turned out to be anti-American and anti-Western civilization.

In 2016, McCain cast her vote for write-in candidate and former CIA agent Evan McMullin. McMullin openly supported keeping the detention center at Gutamio Bay open but was against torture. Which is like saying you’re in favor of toast but against toasters as the entire point of the dentition center is to allow torture.

So I simply ask you — the reader — who is more dangerous? Gabbard, the woman who formally served in the military and attempts to spread peace? Or McCain, who served in the military and attempted to spread war wherever he went?

Meghan McCain is currently married to columnist Ben Domenech. The founder of the main editor of The Federalist — named after a group of monarchists and a man who tried to make it illegal to disagree with him (John Adams).

In November 2017, this online paper pushed an op-ed defending noted pedophile Roy Moore. A move so idiotic even the far-right felt to need to distance themselves.

The main himself has previously attempted to smear Justice Elena Kagan a homosexual, she isn’t. He has also been found to have plagiarized many times over the years.

If Ms. McCain wishes to do “guilt by association,” then I simply ask to be able to play her game. If she wishes to have us all think of Assad when asked about Gabbard then I ask you to think about her dictator defending father, idiotic presidential candidate, and homophobic plagiarist husband.
