Well — I Was Right, And I Hate It

I still remember where I was on 7/21/2024, when President Joe Biden announced he was withdrawing from the race. I was scrolling through Twitter on that faithful day, when I saw an announcement by somebody that Biden was leaving, handing the nomination to some other Democrat who the DNC felt could win the election.

It was at that moment, I knew Donald Trump was going to win a second term as President.

Those who read my blog in the lead up to Biden dropping out know that I was incredibly critical of the idea, and people who knew my backlog during the Biden years were well aware that I believed none of the alternatives brought up in case Biden chose to not run for re-election had a chance at defeating Trump in 2024. Although I was critical of Biden at times — I disliked his dedication to bipartisan politics even when such a thing was impossible, I was abhorred by how he responded to the massacre done by Robert Long, and I found many of his appointments to be milquetoast at a time where fighters were what was required — he had done one thing which always earned him my respect: He denied Donald Trump a second term as President, and I will always be thankful for that.

I knew Harris never stood a chance to defeat Donald Trump, I knew this push for a “new generation of Democratic leadership” was a total scam, and I knew the DNC was almost…
