The Tale Of Two Frauds

This Tuesday, the citizens of Alabama who are also members of the Republican Party will get to choose who represents them in the race against Senator Doug Jones this November. The two options are former Attorney General Jeff Sessions and former Football Coach Tommy Tuberville.

Both of these men, to put it nicely, are total frauds. Both of them are trying to run as ideological successors to President Trump — and both of which have many issues that prove that promise is an empty one.

Tommy Tuberville: The Trump Supporter Who Didn’t Support Trump And The Future Alabama Senator Who’s Not From Alabama

In general, Tuberville is more bland topic in the race. Mind you, Senate primaries rarely come up in national news (hell, Senate races in general hardly come up in national news) and when you’re the dude running against a former Attorney General, it’s hard to stand out.

Tuberville did not vote for Trump, in fact, he did not vote in any election from 2010 to 2016. Documents uncovered by Ryan Girdusky found that Tuberville was actually purged from the voter rolls in Indiana — where he was registered to vote — due to inactively. For the record, districts exist in the United States where more people are registered to vote than actually live in said district.

And, by the way, for a future Alabama Senator, Tuberville sure hasn’t spent much time in Alabama. He was born in Arkansas and spent most of his career as a coach in Florida, and now wants to represent a state he has never lived in. Yeah, this has become a bigger and bigger issue with Congress (remember when Hillary Clinton, who had never spent a day in New York, became a Senator from New York?) but it’s an issue nonetheless.

Is this why he rejected any proposal Sessions had involving them debating? Because doing so would reveal that he knows nothing about the state he’s promising to represent?

Speaking of Sessions —

Jeff Sessions: The Trump Supporter Who Trump Doesn’t Support

I have never liked Jeff Sessions. As Attorney General, he basically spent his entire term trying to scale up the War on Drugs — something of which being against was one of my first political positions.

Remember when he said this about the Devil’s Lettuce back in 2014:

Lady Gaga says she’s addicted to it and it is not harmless.

Might I remind you, as an Attorney from Alabama, Sessions said his biggest issue with the Ku Klux Klan was that some of them smoked pot.

With that said, Sessions has gone someone I hate to someone I pity. He’s currently running as basically a Senate version of Donald Trump. Here’s what Donald Trump has said about Sessions on Twitter:

Attorney General Jeff Sessions has taken a VERY weak position on Hillary Clinton crimes (where are E-mails & DNC server) & Intel leakers! — 7/25/2017

Why is A.G. Jeff Sessions asking the Inspector General to investigate potentially massive FISA abuse. Will take forever, has no prosecutorial power and already late with reports on Comey etc. Isn’t the I.G. an Obama guy? Why not use Justice Department lawyers? DISGRACEFUL! — 2/28/2018

Jeff Sessions said he wouldn’t allow politics to influence him only because he doesn’t understand what is happening underneath his command position. — 8/25/2018

Two long running, Obama era, investigations of two very popular Republican Congressmen were brought to a well publicized charge, just ahead of the Mid-Terms, by the Jeff Sessions Justice Department. Two easy wins now in doubt because there is not enough time. Good job Jeff. The Democrats, none of whom voted for Jeff Sessions, must love him now. Same thing with Lyin’ James Comey. The Dems all hated him, wanted him out, thought he was disgusting — UNTIL I FIRED HIM! Immediately he became a wonderful man, a saint like figure in fact. Really sick! — 9/3/2018

Sessions didn’t have a clue! — 3/8/2019

I remember when the Trump campaign directly had to tell people he had no associations with Sessions. Yet, Sessions keeps coming back to Trump like an abusive-ex — and the ex doesn’t even want him back.

Here’s what Trump has had to say about Tuberville:

Tommy Tuberville (@TTuberville) is running for the U.S. Senate from the Great State of Alabama. Tommy was a terrific head football coach at Auburn University. He is a REAL LEADER who will never let MAGA/KAG, or our Country, down! Tommy will protect your Second Amendment (which is under siege), is strong on Crime and the Border, and truly LOVES our Military and our Vets. He will be a great Senator for the people of Alabama. Coach Tommy Tuberville, a winner, has my Complete and Total Endorsement. I love Alabama! — 3/11/2020

3 years ago, after Jeff Sessions recused himself, the Fraudulent Mueller Scam began. Alabama, do not trust Jeff Sessions. He let our Country down. That’s why I endorsed Coach Tommy Tuberville (@TTuberville), the true supporter of our #MAGA agenda! — 5/22/2020

Big Senate Race in Alabama on Tuesday. Vote for @TTuberville, he is a winner who will never let you down. Jeff Sessions is a disaster who has let us all down. We don’t want him back in Washington! — 7/11/2020

Of course, not only Sessions, but also his many supporters, promise us that Sessions is basically the same as Donald Trump. The Columbia Bugle, Daniel Horowitz, Ryan Girdusky, and many others seem to not realize who Trump is screaming that you should vote for.

These people are insane, plain and simple. And they have no interest in what Trump wants — which is not usually an issue except all of these people have acted like they were perfect Trump supporters and tried to harass anyone who wasn’t for the past four fucking years.

Here’s how this works:

  • Ben Shapiro, David French, or George Will say something harsh about Trump (which, by the way, never actually get proven wrong) and this is evidence they’re part of “Con Inc.” (despite most of the people criticizing them being rich and successful) and are considered frauds.
  • All of these people who say Donald Trump is there lord and savior while supporting a candidate Donald Trump fired and hates and nobody calls them out on it.

At this point, calling yourself a “Trumper” might be the biggest example of irony in politics. Many of these people hate people who Trump hired, most notably Jared Kushner. They back candidates Trump has never endorsed and usually hates — and not only that, but Trump backed candidates are getting mobbed all in the name of Donald Trump.

Who do I want to win? Well, I’ll take Tuberville over Sessions at the moment, but I assume once Tuberville enters the Senate you’ll be unable to tell the difference.

All Republicans bow to the same master far as I’m concerned, that includes people who run as libertarians, populists, or neoconservatives, they’ll all the fucking same far as I’m concerned until proven otherwise. A few have proven otherwise (Rep. Massie, Senator Paul, and a few others) and they’re hated by the President and by the populist establishment.
