The Spectator Really Wants You To Have More Sex (And Other Short Takes)

Karol Markowicz’s 11/18/2021 article for The Spectator WorldLife After Sex” is yet another example of a political commentator taking time out of her day to talk about how people now aren’t having enough sex. Obviously, everything she doesn’t like — non-binary genders, the #MeToo Movement, COVID-19 lockdowns, baggy clothes, and pajamas — are all to blame for Americans not having sex as much as she would prefer.

And I do mean she blames everything, at one point she writes:

Life could not have been less sexy lately. The neighborhood busybody calling the police on your backyard party. Half of everyone’s face covered by a mask. Everyone drinking too much, staying in their pajamas all day and putting on the “quarantine fifteen.”

She goes on to write:

Social changes are also ratcheting down the sexy. “Fifty-seven genders” only sounds cool to a teenager. An adult hearing someone is a pan-bi-trans-nonbinary-femme will just tune out and go search up Pornhub for something that makes sense.

She continues with:

Clothing too has become unsexy. Little House on the Prairie chic was big last spring. Now we’re back to the two-sizes-too-big outfits.
