The QAnon Infighting

Where Michael Flynn goes, QAnon goes. This is why it was so surprising for many people when Flynn, during a call with disgraced former Trump lawyer Lin Wood, said the following:

I find [QAnon] total nonsense. And I think it’s a disinformation campaign created by the left and the types of people that can create something like that are the kinds of people that we trained with certain skills in the CIA, so I wouldn’t be surprised if that’s what it was.

Of course, this is the same Michael Flynn who — just last year — posted a video to the internet of him and his family taking a QAnon pledge. Flynn’s involvement with QAnon — who view him as some kind of hero who was wrongly framed for a crime he pleaded guilty too committing — has been well documented and only deepened since Trump pardoned him in November 2020. By February 2021, Flynn was selling QAnon related merchandise, just to give one example.

Of course, Lin Wood has also not been having the best days as of late. During a recent interview, Kyle Rittenhouse — who Wood was part of the legal team of for a brief time in 2020 — said the following:

He’s insane… how he thinks he’s God and he just says all these weird things. Like “we’re going to keep that boy in jail because there’s not gonna be any… civil or criminal cases come the election,” which is just complete insanity.
