Republicans And Rape: Worse Than You Could Ever Imagine

Personally, I am unsure as to why Kathy Barnette hasn’t just declared victory in the Pennsylvania Senate race yet — if only because she seems like the type who is going to do so anyway, even if she loses. Seriously think about it for a second; she’s a black woman and a Republican who is also well known for being anti-LGBT, anti-abortion, anti-Islam, and is a huge Stop the Steal advocate — meaning she basically argues that the state she is running for has a broken and illegitimate election system: Could anyone beat her?

Although I do not usually make predictions — I find the exercise to be pointless since my role as a political commentator is to convince you to vote for a candidate, not to convince you who is going to win — I will say the answer is yes, literally anyone could beat her. You reading this article right now — assuming you are not Kathy Barnette — could beat her if you had to run against her for the Senate seat in Pennsylvania, regardless of who you are.

I have this hypothesis about Barnette, and it’s the same one I had about Allen West back when he ran for governor of Texas. In the movie Trading Places, two rich guys bet to see if they can replace a rich investor (played by Dan Aykroyd) with a random black guy who they just bailed out of jail (played by Eddie Murphy). I honestly would not be surprised if it…
