Pussy Grabbers For Decency

If you didn’t see the State Of The Union Address last night, you missed less than nothing. The President just bragged for an hour and a half, gave a metal to Rush Limbaugh (who has a beard now), and left.

It was more a campaign speech than an address to the nation. During the last two addresses, the President also spent some time laying down a bold agenda for the nation — he refused to do such a thing last night.

The most we got is that he plans to introduce legislation that would allow victims of murder by illegal immigrants if it takes place in a sanctuary city. Wonder if he’d allow those killed by people released under the FIRST STEP Act to do the same? More than likely not, considering both he bragged about it during a Super Bowl ad and the act has led to very few people actually being released from prison.

Also, I guess Trump felt the need to invite Venezuelan opposition leader Juan Guaido — despite the fact he’s just as much of a socialist as Maduro. Either way, nothing much happened outside of showing some stories that, even as a Trump critic, I must admit are really impressive.

I’m a sucker for World War Two stuff so the Tuskegee Airman was right up my ally. But I’ll admit that’s still being pandered to, albeit, it is quite good pandering.

Instead, all eyes are on Speaker Of The House Nancy Pelosi. Many were angry she ripped up a transcript of the speech given to her by President Trump. I was surprised this was even possible considering how much nothing was in the speech.

Vice President Pence called it a “new low.” Question, can she do anything without some Republican calling it a “new low”? Pence also said “I was not sure she was ripping up the speech or ripping up the Constitution.” Which is idiotic when you consider what she ripped up was one of many annual speeches the President gives and the other is the founding document of this nation.

Of course, Pence was more civil than some. Townhall columnist Todd Starnes had this to say on the topic:

Sadly, while Speaker Pelosi’s behavior was unbecoming for a civilized member of society, it was pretty much what we’ve come to expect from those infected with Trump Derangement Syndrome.

Unbecoming? Remember when Rep. Joe Wilson screamed “you lie!” at President Obama back in 2009? He’s currently the House Republican Assistant Whip!

Hell, this is nothing compared to what people use to get into in Congress. Anyone remember when Vice-President John C. Calhoun beat the shit out of Davy Crockett on the floor of Congress? Okay, more than likely not, but you see my point.

Johnathan Turley, a writer for The Hill, had his own thoughts on this:

Pelosi has demolished decades of tradition with this poorly considered moment. Of course, many will celebrate her conduct and be thrilled by the insult to Trump. However, even those of us who disagree with his policies should consider what Pelosi destroyed in her moment of rage. She shredded the pretense of governing with civility and dignity in the House. Notably, she did not wait to rip up her copy of the speech until after she left the House floor. Pelosi wanted to do it at the end of the speech, in front of the camera, with the president still in the chamber.

I know, how dare she insult a civil man like Donald Trump. The man who called the TPP “a rape of our country,” warned that “second Amendment people” might kill a former Sectary Of State if she beats him in an election, and said of Senator John McCain that he “likes people who didn’t get caught” is now demanding decency.

I brought up three examples from his campaign for a reason, I thought the reason Republicans like the guy was because he’s mean, tough, and politically incorrect. Why is Pelosi not allowed to engage in the same tactics the President is using? After all, they seem to work considering he won the election.

This is made even funnier with Limbaugh getting the Metal Of Freedom. For those who don’t know, here are some quotes from the Rush:

Take that bone out of your nose and call me back.-Sometime in the 1970's

Feminism was established so as to allow unattractive women access to the mainstream of society.-2/4/1988

Have you ever noticed how all newspaper composite pictures of wanted criminals resemble Jesse Jackson?-10/8/1990

I can think of no better bunch of people to lie to than Congress.-6/6/1994

On Abu Ghraib: I’m talking about people having a good time, these people, you ever heard of emotional release? You ever heard of need to blow some steam off?-5/4/2004

What [Obama] is talking about is the absorption of as much of the private sector by the US government as possible, from the banking business, to the mortgage industry, the automobile business, to health care. I do not want the government in charge of all of these things. I don’t want this to work. So I’m thinking of replying to the guy, “Okay, I’ll send you a response, but I don’t need 400 words, I need four: I hope he fails.”-1/16/2009

And I’m not going to apologize for it, I’m just quoting Emanuel. It’s in the news. I think the news is that he’s out there calling Obama’s number one supporters effing retards. So now there’s going to be a meeting. There’s going to be a retard summit at the White House, much like the beer summit between Obama and Gates and that cop in Cambridge.-2/3/2010

What does it say about the college co-ed Sandra Fluke, who goes before a congressional committee and essentially says that she must be paid to have sex, what does that make her? It makes her a slut, right? It makes her a prostitute. She wants to be paid to have sex. She’s having so much sex she can’t afford the contraception. She wants you and me and the taxpayers to pay her to have sex. What does that make us? We’re the pimps. (interruption) The johns? We would be the johns? No! We’re not the johns. (interruption) Yeah, that’s right. Pimp’s not the right word. Okay, so she’s not a slut. She’s “round heeled”. I take it back.-2/29/2012

If there is consent on both or all three or all four, however many are involved in the sex act, it’s perfectly fine. Whatever it is. But if the left ever senses and smells that there’s no consent in part of the equation then here come the rape police. But consent is the magic key to the left.-10/12/2016

Look, this isn’t me saying I want Rush to die of lung cancer — the new strawman argument against people who criticize this move. However, are you really expecting me to believe these same people wouldn’t have been angry if President Obama had done the same with Christopher Hitchens when he was dying of cancer?

Lastly, to Ryan Saavedra, go fuck yourself.

For those who don’t know, Saavedra posted a video of AOC criticizing the President’s choice to give Rush Limbaugh a metal with the following tweet:

Socialist Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez viciously *mocks* Rush Limbaugh, who has stage 4 lung cancer, calls his reaction to being awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom “disingenuous”

Says that he, while having cancer, was a “joke,” needed an “Opera moment,” and was “nauseating”

Okay, I’ll give you downright mocking Limbaugh when he has stage four lung cancer is in bad taste — although so is what most of Limbaugh does, but still.

However, there’s one issue. You remember this Tweet?

Joe Biden today: “The only thing I miss is my buddy Fritz Hollings, he was one of my mentors and I’m sorry he’s not here”

Sen. Fritz Hollings (D-SC) was a segregationist who said blacks attend trade conferences so they can “get a good square meal” rather than “eating each other”-6/22/2019

Here’s the thing, Hollings had died less than four months before Joe Biden made that statement. Hollings and Biden had also been friends for forty years at that point!

So criticizing Rush for his past actions is bad because he’s dying, but within a moment after his death all his former friends and family must never speak positively of him again? Why do I imagine Ryan is not going to enforce this standard?

Either way, he’s a piece of human shit.
