Mr. Tracey Goes To Connecticut: A Story In Four Parts

On 9/13/2021, a Twitter user named @haramcart posted the following along with a two minute video-clip of Michael Tracey:

Michael Tracey visits Connecticut College ostensibly to do journalism about their covid rules but decides to give a speech to the students while standing in front of a highway holding a briefcase with an antenna on it for some reason

The user later clarified:

Ok I guess it’s a speaker. The half tuck is also very cool

Of course, this was after the user was corrected by Keith Olbermann, who tweeted:

It’s not a briefcase. It’s @mtracey’s Mr Microphone Toy

The video shows Michael Tracey being heckled by the students of the university, with one kid screaming at him “you’re Tucker Carlson’s bitch!” Another student screams that he looks like The Lorax. When one student says he’s on Fox News and works for The New York Post, Tracey yells “I was on a left-wing podcast,” in response.

Also, one of the students he interacted with tested positive for COVID-19 the next day. When the student contacted Tracey, Tracey asked if the student had video of them interacting.
