Josh Hawley, Ketanji Brown Jackson, And Pedophilia

Senator Josh Hawley has finally found a way to smear Biden’s Supreme Court nomination Ketanji Brown Jackson — by calling her a pedophile. Best as I can tell, this specific attack began on 3/16/2022, when Senator Hawley wrote the following on Twitter:

I’ve been researching the record of Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson, reading her opinions, articles, interviews & speeches. I’ve noticed an alarming pattern when it comes to Judge Jackson’s treatment of sex offenders, especially those preying on children

I should note, if Hawley actually was concerned about having someone who’s soft on child sex offenders on the bench, he could have easily looked into Jackson while President Biden was deciding who to nominate. For that matter, he could have easily learned all of this back when Biden appointed Jackson to the court of appeals last year. Instead, he specifically waited until Jackson was already nominated to the Supreme Court to do any research on her history — which is especially telling considering he voted against her being confirmed to the court of appeals.
