Inauguration Day Short Takes
The only thing stopping me from opening declaring that this is the end of America is the fact that Joe Biden has not done such.
Joe Biden is the greatest President the United States has had since LBJ, a progressive man who was actually interested in changing the country for the better and had no desire to do anything other than what he thought was right. The fact that the American people threw him away largely because of nonsensical fears over his age is going to go down in history as one of the biggest tragedies of our time.
Will somebody genuinely tell me where the idea of the United States acquiring Greenland even came from? Why the nation of Greenland specifically out of all of the various countries which exist on this planet? I at least understand the obsession with annexing Canada and once again having the Panama Canal — even if I find such ideas to be nonsensical — but the desire to take control of a place such as Greenland has never failed to appear nonsensical.
