Anne Vuulphie is a good friend of mine. She’s a funny, smart, and all around interesting person whom — although I’ve only known for a short amount of time — I plan to spend many more years talking to and enjoying the company of.

Sadly, things cannot always be easy, even for good people like Anne. While I will not tell you the full story — it is not my story to tell and even then I doubt I have all the details — the basics are that Anne is getting kicked out of her apartment and is facing potential homelessness as a result.

To be blunt, we are not even sure what she’s going to do. This is a rather panicked time and it’s rather hard to think rationally in those situations. All we know is that any money you donate will go to Anne having a roof over her head — that much can be promised.

Anne is a wonderful person and it truly pains me to see her in this situation. We set up the GoFundMe basically in hopes that someone would be generous enough to help someone so great out — and hopefully, someone who sees this post can be that person.

If you cannot donate personally, we understand. However, we at least ask that you spread the link around the web, especially to people who can donate. We’ve all seen people in this situation, and we all talk about helping those who are less fortunate than us, well now’s a good chance to put our money where our mouths are and actually help someone in need.

Here’s a link to the GoFundMe

Here’s a link to a Twitter post where I promote the GoFundMe. Once again, if you cannot personally give for whatever reason, we at least ask that you share this around. I know just retweeting someone is considered “slacktivism” by modern standards, but getting some eyes on the project can truly go a long way and will make it so people who otherwise won’t see it will:
