For the record, I do believe it is important to think about systems as oppose to individuals. However, DiAngelo does a horrible job at encouraging that among her readers. I will say that shortly after I published this article, Nathan Robinson published a great piece in Current Affairs going after DiAngelo from this perspective. Basically, if that is what DiAngelo is going for, she does a very bad job at it.
