Donald Trump Needs To Stop Spreading Anti-Semitic Conspiracy Theories

Donald Trump is one of those people who can not for the life of him manage to shut up, everyone knows that at this point. However, I can not help but notice that everyone who got angry at Omar saying some Israel supporters had duel loyalty — which many of them use to admit to — have not condemned Trump calling other Jews disloyal.

“In my opinion, the Democrats have gone very far away from Israel. I cannot understand how they can do that,” Trump told reporters from the White House South Lawn on Wednesday. “They don’t want to fund Israel. They want to take away foreign aid to Israel. They want to do a lot of bad things to Israel. In my opinion, you vote for a Democrat, you’re being very disloyal to Jewish people and very disloyal to Israel.”

First off, a number of things said here are wrong. Bernie Sanders (who these same people keep reminding me has never passed anything) joked about cutting funding when Israel banned two elected representatives from an allied nation — an act that would be considered unacceptable if an enemy nation did.

Also “don’t want to fund,” and “take away foreign aid,” mean the exact same thing. And hardcore conservatives tend to be the largest critics of foreign aid, unless, of course, it’s to Israel.

However, the biggest thing that bothers me is calling Democrats disloyal. Of course, this is wrong. Ronald Reagan put more sanctions on Israel than Barack Obama and both Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer have spoke at AIPAC.

Remember when Pelosi said this:

America and Israel share an unbreakable bond: in peace and war; and in prosperity and in hardship.

How about that time Chuck Schumer sponsored legislation in 1995 to move the embassy to Jerusalem? How about that time both Joe Biden and Hillary Clinton spoke at AIPAC the same year as Ted Cruz and Donald Trump?

Of course, Trump is clearly talking about Rep. Omar and Rep. Tlaib — even if he doesn’t understand that. Unless he thinks Alan Dershowitz is self-hating — which, by the way, is not something you’re allowed to call anyone besides the Jewish.

However, let’s talk about what happens when a Democrat calls politicians loyal to Israel. They’re told they must resign there and now because they dared suggest such a thing. Well, here Donald Trump is saying the same exact thing. The only difference is Donald Trump is a Zionist.

Therefore, he is allowed to say anything that if Omar said would be considered Terrorist like — in spite of how similar the two statements are.

I don’t need to play Ben Shapiro and say “imagine,” all I need to do is look at how the media responded to these two stories. Even Democrats were calling for Omar to resign for “using tropes,” will Donald be told to? I somehow doubt it.
