On 3/1/2021, to celebrate the start of International Women’s Month, the official Twitter account of the streaming platform Twitch tweeted the following:

March is Womxn’s History Month. Join us in celebrating and supporting all the Womxn creating their own worlds, building their communities, and leading the way on Twitch.

The use of “womxn” instead of “women” was quickly mocked across the internet. Twitch quickly deleted the tweet and said the following in response:

While we originally wanted to use a word that acknowledges the shortcoming of gender-binary language, after hearing directly from you, including members of the LGBTQIA+ community on…

Liberal Hypocrisy: When Obama Was President Democrats Were Okay With Him Being President, But When Trump Is President Suddenly It’s Wrong To Be President? — Clickhole Headline, 8/20/2018

On 3/1/2021, Fox News Host Lawrence Jones said the following:

More than 100,000 people have died from COVID-19 since Joe Biden took office. That’s on his watch. I thought he had a plan to shut down the virus. What happened? Add it to the list of campaign promises made but never kept.

Of course, Jones is spouting nonsense when he blames those COVID-19 deaths on Joe Biden, and this might seem like…

Richard Grenell, President Trump’s openly gay Ambassador to Germany, has been running around trying to prove that the Republican Party is no longer homophobic. On 3/1/2021 Grenell sent out the following screenshot of an Instagram post from a woman named Gina Roberts:

Statement for the record. CPAC 2021 was an incredibly accepting and wonderful experience for this transgender Republican woman. I worked the Log Cabin Republican booth and received nothing but respectful questions about things in the news about transgender people. Much better and easy to get along with crowd than any Pride festival I was involved at.

Of course…

A few days ago, President Biden ordered a drone strike in the nation of Syria. As soon as it happened, the anti-war left came in full spring denouncing this as an act of imperialism against Bashar al-Assad, as well as evidence that Biden is a war criminal fighting for neo-liberal foreign policy.

Mind you, the strikes were not against Assad, but against a small militia backed by Iran — a nation which Biden is trying to make peace with through reinstating the Iran Nuclear Deal President Obama came up with. If Biden really plans to take out Assad, you’d think…

The big news of the week, as well as the latest example of “censorship against a conservative by big-tech,” comes from Catholic commentator and social conservative Ryan T. Anderson. Specifically, it comes from Amazon taking down Anderson’s book When Harry Became Sally: Responding to the Transgender Moment. And yes, the final word in the title is Moment and not Movement — because expecting anything Ryan Anderson does to make sense is to miss the point of why he does it.

You know it’s a big deal because Sohrab Ahmari has written an article about it for The American Mind, here’s…

Over the past several months, I have been obsessed with an internet Communist named Caleb Maupin. A man who is such a Communist, his face is usually red. (Seriously dude, get your blood pressure checked — or put on some sunscreen.)

By far the most noteworthy thing about him, as well as the thing that has gotten him into the most controversy even from his fellow leftists, is his constant apologetics for various socialist nations, such as the USSR, Cuba, and China. Specifically, he has argued that many talking points against China, most notably the Concentration Camps against Uygur Muslims…

Yesterday, my new book Is This Book Orwellian: Understanding George Orwell’s 1984 was released. You can currently get the book on Kindle as well as in paperback in every country except the United States — because for some reason Amazon told me it was sold out in the United States and only the United States. I must admit, I’ve never had this happen before, but I assume that’s a good sign.

As covered in the introduction and in Chapter One, I wrote this book because of my love for 1984 and George Orwell’s work in general. His themes of anti-authoritarianism…

Before we begin, I just want to say that I have nothing against the concept of fact-checking websites — because that needs to be said these days. To certain people, if you tell them you take issues with this or that “fact-checking” website and what they say, they’ll think you’re against facts and the checking of them. But I’m not against facts, I like facts, I dislike fact-checking websites.

Except even that's not true, I don’t hate fact-checking websites, I hate how they operate. Specifically, how they must always find something wrong with the mainstream narrative, something to “fact-check”, no…

On 2/12/2021, The New York Times officially updated its original article on the death of police officer Brian Sicknick with the following note:

New information has emerged regarding the death of the Capitol Police officer Brian Sicknick that questions the initial cause of his death provided by officials close to the Capitol Police.

No mention of who provided that new information (I guess besides it being someone “close to the Capitol Police”), what it means, or what it even is, just that there’s new information that disproves the previous story.

Brian Sicknick, for those unaware, was the police officer at…

On 2/16/2021, The Hill reported that a Republican-consultant named Alex Castellanos said that former UN Ambassador Nikki Haley was the most likely to be the 2024 Republican Presidential nomination:

“I think Nikki Haley is the front-runner and it’s going to be very hard to stop her,” Castellanos told OZY co-founder and CEO Carlos Watson. “I think she’s underestimated.”

In a clip from “The Carlos Watson Show” provided exclusively to The Hill, Castellanos went on to say that “politicians in Washington” dismiss the former South Carolina governor as “not really a heavyweight candidate” but that “she’s the real deal” and “the…
